Yes, William effin' Beckett wished me a few days earlier before my birthday and I received one extra prints from my favorite drummer, The Butcher. A personal message from Mr. Beckett will be waiting for me in a few weeks' time (because I have such an awesome friend to help me with this ♥)

I turned 25 on Monday. I'll be working soon, like soon next week kind of soon. I've been living alone for a week since Monday which I havent been doing in years, and it sucks, so far. Which I'm coming to a conclusion that I cannot live alone. Ever. (Which is why, I need to work hard and get me and bros a place to live in peace)

It's not that I got depressed, it's just that everything seems to be... stagnant and slooooow. I hope things get better next week, inshaAllah. c:

This year birthday/birthweek wasn't as eventful as last year's but ohmygod did you see what did I get for this year? William Beckett & The Butcher. gsfdgfhjdgas. My 18 years old self would tell me to get the hell off because THIS won't happen, not in a million years, but it happened. So BOOYAH 18 y/o self! :P

I got to see Evie one last time too, that precious little kid. Easily my favorite kid on earth ♥

Y'know what, I thought I'd come up with uber cool, deep and meaningful post because hey I'm 25 now. But guess what I can't hahahaha, well I guess age is just a number after all. I'll take on my world soon, and I will rock it. As hard as I can. *Yay for optimism!*

So this will do for now.
I befriend so much people (in and out of Malaysia, in fact) for the past 3 months, thanks for the unemployment, social network and Beckett.

Ja!

//28: "Allah sayang orang macam awak."

Rasa terharu lagi jumpa kali ini. Sama rasa macam jumpa 3 tahun lepas, masa tengah lost teruk tu. Thank you kak Wani, you are such an inspiration. :')

So, yep.

Haha look at me, I never finish anything! Tsk.

Supposed to put up the final 2 days of the internship but on Thursday and Friday I was too busy with life. What is up, yeah? :-p. 8 months finally ended and unlike my friends who appreciate 2 months extra of solitary, I've come to a point of loathing it. Hewhewhew. So much things happen lately that I choose not to be on my own, it's horrifying! If only you knew how much, if only.

On Friday, we, the interns had our last lunch - the lunch we stopped having together after a few months. So yeah. Went to Padi, and just chill. Went back to the office, wave goodbyes and say thank yous to everyone and thats it. Thats how I spent my Friday at the office. Hoho. Went to Delicious with A later at night and just ~chill. Yep, I love the word 'Chill' now hahaha. A said I changed too much and that I suck so bad before, um, thanks? :-), change is good.

Yesterday was okay okay je lah kot. Urbanscapes was fun because of the people I met, aaaand that was it. Khottal was one hell of a band. I mean it's hard to find a band that can make me close my eyes, eliminates the crowd and just, take a breather and listen. I did that during Incubus's, Yuna's Penakut, and a handful of performers and i haven't been doing that in years! Khottal was the highlight of my day. Although our love balloon was nonchalantly received, but the music was awe-fucking-some. They reminded me of why I love live music, why I spent so much to watch live music, why - I, who loathe being in a crowded place - can stand being in one when there's a good music to enjoy, and the reason why I brave the mud in my overpriced maxi dress.

Sick.

I havent been feeling this feverish in eons, and I don't like it one bit! :( I have some issues being home alone, I can't be left alone or I'd feel depressed. Even I'm sickly, I still have the appetite to eat, thats the weirdest thing about me I guess, who bothers to eat when they sick? I do!

So I decided to cook. Simple stuff, but I think it is delicious e he he he tak malu puji diri sendiri.

Lunch orang sakit,
ditemani OJ favourite.

I hate calling in sick today because I know I will miss A LOT :( Have to catch up on readings before tomorrow starts. Toodles!

Haven't met these people in a while. One fun sunny evening :)

T'was my first urbanscapexprience, so I couldn't compare it with the previous years. Went there solely for the performances just coz I miss dancing around and got all intimate with the music and the crowd. Saw few strangers that I thought I'd never crossed paths, some familiar faces that I'm quite sure need no hellos from me, and old friends. And yes, I think it was quite awesome how me and my fav girl accidentally wore the same scarfs.. and funny, too. Something to remember I guess :). The day ends with a few hours long lepak session at Kokopelli with people I don't really know. Yep.

P/S: Najwa is one sick woman. I love your slot the most!

Rum

A friend of mind is getting married next week (!!) which made me and my friend, Maggie Starr, decided to shop around for her wedding gift. We agreed on SJ (which to kill two birds with one stone - since my fav. girl asked me to come & say hello). Got my hands on the top that I've been eyeing and something extra :-)

After having a look see and finally settled on a set of our own mix-n-match-wedding-gift. We decided to... shop around a little more. Let me make this clear: I am a gadget type of girl, i don't fancy spending cash on clothes - so I kinda surprised myself with the stuff I bought. Lol, feels like I'm finally... a girl.

Now, I'm *this close* to insolvency. I need moolah so I can buy them gadgets I have my eyes on. Damn. Need to work lah macam ni!

Stumbl #1: Rizza Cabrera

I'm gonna make a series of cool people I met on the internet (being an avid stalker that I am - yep) and it'll be under the Stumbl tag - just coz I want it like that. It'll be much more awesome if you could drop me a few recommendations cause I feel so out of touch of what's what.

Found about this awesome lil missy here from a friend. From what I know, she's a Filipino and taking architecture and still have time pen down some mellowed down guitar numbers. And she's.. well, I wish I knew what her age is, but I bet she's younger than me... that makes her double awesome. (OK, I love sayin' awesome, OK?)

I think all Filipinos have creative blood inherited from their ancestors or something, no kid. Not to mention pretty too, sigh. Rizza is also well-known for her covers duet with her model sister, Raleene.

I dig all of her covers.

This is her latest cover, if I'm not mistaken. Regina Spektor - Us' cover.
Take a listen:

Rant Series: Things that equivalent to stupidity

Sometimes I think I made this blog just to rant. Lol, I'm not that negative upfront but a girl gotta rant when she's gotta rant, yeah? (K, totally made that up - moving on!) SO:
  • I don't get it how you can afford to have your own food stall and cannot afford to give out small change and have the cheek to ask your customer (RUDELY) to get his/her own small changes.
  • How, insensitive and busy body can you get to your customer? When I don't want to answer your stupid irrelevant questions it just means this: I just don't wanna have any communication whatsoever with you. Thanks. (Really, because the food stall owner just ruined my mood and you there, without thinking have the cheek to ask me this "Mesti abang tu suruh tukar duit kan? Adik takde duit kecik lagi ke? Besarnye duit?") Dude, I do what I want with MY money, OK?
  • And this Paki stall I swore to boycott not so long ago just proved me right. That they don't deserve my money AT ALL. Too bad there's small variations as to where I can get my food. The heck. Stupid immigrants. (They're not Pakistanis I presume, they look and talk like a Bangaldeshi - I'm pissed so, hope none of you all 'immigrants' offended - if any)
  • I just couldn't wait to get my feet on my hometown dirt. Seriously, exams? Pfft.
p/s: The ONLY nice thing that happen at the end of the day is finding RM 1.50 Kickapoo Joy Juice in a glass bottle. Yep, glass bottle up there. I feel so vintage (-LOL, but yeah really)
